Ten-year-old Kimaru dreams of being an aeronautical engineer and leaving the slum. His mother can’t afford tuition, but he is determined to raise chickens, sell eggs, and go back to school. On the way, he learns patience, responsibility, and pride.

Anne van Campenhout is a creative documentary filmmaker. She graduated in 2011 from the Utrecht School of the Arts, study Audiovisual Media. She finished her Master in Creative Design for Digital Cultures, validated by The Open University, UK. She made documentaries in Ghana, Benin, Tanzania, Kenya and other African countries.

Eriss Khajira (1987) was born and raised in the Dandora Slum in Kenya. Later on she got a job at the Nairobi Community Media House as a reporter for African Slum Journal. In the beginning of 2016 she started her own Media House called: The Big 5 Media Centre.
