Through the diaries she wrote, she tries to understand the dispersing of her family after her mother’s death.

Eliya Swartz was born in 1989 and grew up in Jerusalem.
She Studied Cinematic Arts at the NYU and for 4 years of Cinema at Minshar School of Arts, Tel Aviv majoring in Documentary.
"Like A Lotus Flower" won the Bernstein Foundation Award in the Jerusalem Film festival 2016.
