This work addresses the history of the Israeli textile industry. The video is comprised of television archival materials that document the protests and rallies of the "ATA" workers against the closing of the Kiryat Ata factory in 1985, a moment which symbolizes the turning point from a welfare state policy to privatization and compliance to the process of globalization. The archivel material which was filmed with a 16mm camera is gradually covered by digital pixels. The pixels shifting and weaving into the archive footage also correlates to the sewing of clothing and the warp and woof threads of textiles.
