United States 2018, 133 min, English, Hebrew subtitles

She first stepped on stage at 17 and has yet to step off even now, at 81. Her name never faded from the headlines either. She appeared in them as a star, an actress who won almost every award in existence, a woman who has had sensational affairs, and an activist who was never afraid to shout out her controversial opinions. In a film born from a series of candid interviews and rare archival materials, Jane Fonda talks about a childhood darkened by her mother’s suicide and her father’s narcissism, about her 30 years of bulimia and about the inner strength these difficult experiences drove her to find. Fonda never gets old, not at heart. She is still viciously funny and very political, and she’s never lost the power to love, to break and to love again.
