United States 2013, 70 min, English, Hebrew subtitles

A story of a forbidden love becomes an almost voyeuristic experience. Tom, a married man, and his lover Jean, recorded over sixty hours of letters, erotic fantasies, lovers’ jokes and pillow talk. Their secret affair, which took place in the early 1960’s, was full of passion. The intimate messages they recorded for each other may have begun as a game, but ultimately enabled them to express themselves in surprisingly bold ways. This film is based on reels of tapes found in an old suitcase bought on eBay and illustrated with stylized, evocative photos. The moving, often heart-wrenching erotic confessions of the two lovers sweep the listeners up into the lives of Tom and Jean, with all the reservations, heartbreak, longing and sweetness, to offer a very different new perspective on the classic love triangle.
