What is the cost of getting on Vladimir Putin’s hit list? This gripping documentary thriller proposes an answer through the experiences of three resolute individuals: a whistleblower attempting to flee Russia, a prominent political activist who survived two poisonings and now finds himself accused of treason, and an investigative journalist leading the charge to expose Putin’s criminal network, himself now forced into hiding. Driven by a shared responsibility and a need for justice, these three are willing to risk everything to bring the authoritarian leader’s deadly methods to light. They are the antidote to the authoritarianism and fear tactics of the Russian regime. With a dizzying pace and unwavering moral conviction, the film paints a timely and urgent picture of anti-democratic forces—and the brave people fighting back.
