Ari Nagel is a father to more than 100 children. They’re the result of Ari’s life vocation – donating sperm voluntarily to women who are struggling to conceive. We tag along to Ari’s perpetual out-of-briefcase insemination tour, as he produces “samples” for women who seek his assistance, usually in public restrooms. The film follows the vicious circle in which Ari finds himself, on the one hand, consumed by his mission and the attention he receives for it and on the other hand presents Ari’s children’s perspective on their relationship with the present-absent donor in their lives.
