Docaviv is an international documentary film festival based in Tel Aviv.
Over time, the festival has spread its wings to the Galilee and the Negev.
Docaviv’s circle of friends holds the art of documentary cinema close to their hearts. More than 150 families support the ongoing activities of Docaviv throughout the year, and they are an important and essential contribution to the success of the festival.
Throughout the year, Docaviv’s friends are invited to special events including meetings with documentary filmmakers, opening night of the festival, pre-premiere screenings and access to films that we screen in theaters and online.
The support of Docaviv’s friends makes it possible for us to continue our challenging work. With their help, we are able to bring the best documentary films to the festival and provide an opportunity for Israeli filmmakers to showcase their work to various audiences.
In 2024 we offer 3 donation programs
A donation of 2,500 NIS, for which you will get
- An invitation for two to the annual gala event
- 12 tickets to festival films and an invitation for two to the opening ceremony
- Tickets for documentary films – Docaviv online
- Tickets for our two satellite festivals: Docaviv Negev and Docaviv Galilee which are committed to making cinema accessible to Israel’s periphery.
- Invitations to special events
- A credit with your name will appear in the catalog and in the various publications
A donation of 5,000 NIS or more for which you will get
- An invitation for two to the annual gala event
- 24 tickets to festival films and an invitation for two to the opening ceremony + a VIP Pass that allows you to enter all festival screenings for free and on a first-come, first-served basis
- Tickets for documentary films – Docaviv online
- Tickets for our two satellite festivals: Docaviv Negev and Docaviv Galilee which are committed to making cinema accessible to Israel’s periphery .
- Invitations to special events
- A credit with your name will appear in the catalog and in the various publications.
A donation of 10,000 NIS or more for which you will get
- An invitation for two to the annual gala event
- 40 tickets to festival films and an invitation for two to the opening ceremony + a VIP Pass for two that allows you to enter all the festival screenings for free and on a first-come, first-served basis
- Tickets for documentary movies – Docaviv online
- Tickets for our two satellite festivals: Docaviv Negev and Docaviv Galilee which are committed to
making cinema accessible to Israel’s periphery.
- Invitations to special events
- A possibility to hold a private event for your circle of friends during which a film will be screened from Docaviv’s annual selection at a price reserved for members of the Friends Association only
- A credit with your name will appear in the catalog and in the various publications.
